Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Reconixe processes to provide its reconciliation operations service.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Who operates Reconixe

Reconixe is operated by Cedric Is'imange Benonga, an individual based in South Africa. In this policy, "Reconixe", "we", and "us" refer to that operation. Questions about this policy may be sent to support@reconixe.com.

Information we process

  • Account and profile information, including name, email address, authentication records, and display preferences.
  • Organization, membership, role, notification, and operational audit information.
  • CSV and XLSX files customers upload, selected worksheets, column mappings, and the structured data contained in those files.
  • Workflows, reconciliation runs, matches, exceptions, evidence, review notes, resolutions, dashboards, reports, and exports.
  • Support tickets, messages, email replies, and related contact details.
  • Plan, subscription, billing-customer identifiers, usage periods, row counts, and operational events. Payment details are handled through the payment provider rather than stored as card data by Reconixe.

Why we process information

We process information to create and secure accounts; provide organization and team access; accept and validate uploads; run reconciliations; present results and exceptions; preserve evidence and history; generate reports; administer plans and billing; measure plan usage; provide support; send service communications; and prevent abuse or investigate security issues.

AI-assisted explanations

When an authorized user requests an explanation, Reconixe sends bounded exception evidence to its server-side AI service path to generate an assistive explanation. The feature is read-only and does not change exception state. AI output may be inaccurate and should be verified against the evidence.

This policy does not make claims about provider model-training practices that have not been independently verified.

Service providers

Reconixe uses Lovable for application hosting and managed service infrastructure; Supabase technology for database, authentication, and storage; Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions and payments; Lovable AI Gateway and its routed AI provider for requested Exception Explainer processing; and Resend for support and service email delivery. These providers may process information in connection with supplying their services, subject to their applicable terms, privacy commitments, and contractual arrangements.

Storage, cookies, and local preferences

Reconixe uses essential authentication storage to keep users signed in. First-party storage may remember theme, sidebar, and language preferences. Paddle may use storage when a customer enters its checkout or billing experience.

Reconixe does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or customer-behavior analytics in the application. Because the storage controlled by Reconixe is essential or functional, no non-essential tracking consent banner is currently shown.

Retention and deletion

Reconciliation history is retained according to the organization's plan and applicable operational safeguards. Account, organization, billing, security, audit, and support records may be retained for service administration, dispute handling, security, legal obligations, and legitimate business needs.

Account closure or deletion requests can be sent to support. Some records may need to be preserved where deletion would conflict with legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, billing records, or the integrity of an organization's shared history.

International processing and security

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Cross-border processing is subject to applicable law and the safeguards available under relevant provider arrangements.

Reconixe uses authentication, organization-based access controls, server-side authorization, restricted service operations, and other technical and organizational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to request a portable copy of eligible personal information. Requests may be sent to support and may require identity verification.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top, and material changes may also be communicated through the service or email where appropriate.
