Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Reconixe.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms are an agreement between the customer and Cedric Is'imange Benonga, the individual who operates Reconixe from South Africa. A person creating or using an account confirms that they can enter this agreement and, when acting for an organization, have authority to bind it.
2. Accounts and organizations
Users must provide accurate information, protect their credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Organization Owners control membership and billing. Customers are responsible for authorized users and their activity.
3. Permitted use
Reconixe may be used for lawful reconciliation operations. Customers must not interfere with the service; bypass access or plan limits; probe or exploit security without authorization; upload malware; infringe rights; or use the service to process data they are not permitted to use.
4. Customer data and content
Customers retain ownership of their uploaded files, workflows, notes, and other content. Customers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and necessary permissions for that content.
Customers grant Reconixe a limited license to host, copy, validate, process, transmit, display, and create service outputs from customer content solely as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot and support the service, comply with applicable law, and provide features requested by the customer.
5. Service and plan limits
Reconixe reconciles 2+ sources in one run, with 2–50 named sources per workflow. Available users, workflows, monthly rows, retention, matching options, approvals, and exports depend on the selected plan. Monthly row allowances reset according to the applicable usage period; runs themselves are not the commercial quota.
We may maintain, update, or change the service. Availability is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, and scheduled or emergency maintenance may occur.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Free is a no-charge plan. Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for those transactions. Paddle handles payment processing and applicable transaction taxes in accordance with its checkout and billing terms. Prices and included limits are shown on the Pricing page.
Upgrades follow the current billing confirmation process. Paid-plan downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Cancellation preserves paid access through the paid period, after which the organization returns to Free. Organization Owners initiate checkout, plan changes, and billing-portal access.
7. AI-assisted features
AI-generated exception explanations are assistive, read-only output. They may be incomplete or incorrect and must be verified against the underlying evidence. AI output does not resolve exceptions or replace professional judgment.
8. Intellectual property and confidentiality
Reconixe and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, branding, documentation, and improvements. Each party should protect the other's confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for the relationship, except where disclosure is required by law.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, non-payment, or conduct that threatens the service or others. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to remedy will be provided. Terms that should reasonably survive termination remain effective.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Reconixe does not guarantee that every discrepancy, fraud event, accounting error, or data issue will be identified, or that AI output will be accurate. Customers remain responsible for review and decisions based on results.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for gross negligence where applicable.
12. Changes, contact, and governing law
We may update the service or these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the service or email, and the updated date will appear above. Questions may be sent to support@reconixe.com.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
